The history of The Well and its founders' work in Tampa began more than a decade before the current legal entity took shape, and the diaspora of its early members extends to many cities today. As many builders will understand, The Well as an organization exis

ts only in service of a vision far greater than itself. We are stewards of its message, but the vision and any progress toward it belong to citizens of a movement. We count it a privilege to serve this movement and to support others who work in service of a well built city.

Join us on Thursday, January 22nd as we celebrate the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting of The Drop — a daytime drop-in center built by the community, for the community.

Since November, The Drop has been offering showers, laundry, mail service, coffee, Wi-Fi, and a place of dignity and belonging for our unhoused neighbors. Now we’re pausing to say thank you and invite the city to see what’s possible when we come together.

Ribbon Cutting: 10–11am
Lunch + Tours: 11am–1pm (with Community)
Evening Open Houses: 5:30–7pm

Special thanks to  and  for modeling collaboration over competition with their shared investment in community health and access with us!
