From the founding of The Tampa Bay Hotel in 1891 through to today’s University of Tampa Plant Hall, 15 exquisite Venetian style mirror has survived numerous changes of location. It takes a well-trained team to move these gems and the Tampa Bay community is so fortunate to be able to continue to reflect upon both the past and present with every passing encounter.

Imperfect Harmony: Man, Machine, and Music at the Tampa Bay Hotel Now - December 23 See antique and rare mechanical instruments while learning about the names, faces, and stories of the performing artists who etched concerts and celebrations into local community memory. Hear a demonstration of the Orchestrion each week Wednesdays at noon and Saturdays at 11 am.

Join us this Thursday august 18, 11am for “Music in the Museum”. Classical guitar with John Barr. This program honors the Tampa Bay Hotel tradition of daily live concerts..
