The final chapter.

During Exercise Sea Breeze 26 in Romania, Marines with Alpha Company, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion operated the AAV alongside multinational partners, contributing to a demonstration of amphibious capability and interoperability.

Sea Breeze 26 marked the AAV’s final operational employment with the Marine Corps after more than five decades of service. For generations of Marines, the platform represents a legacy built on teamwork, adaptability and the ability to move from sea to shore.

Fair winds and following seas!

In July, 4th AA Bn said farewell to LtCol Justin Davis as he relinquished his responsibilities as the Battalion Inspector-Instructor to LtCol Benjamin Held. The ceremony was officiated by 4th Marine Division Commanding General, MajGen Adams.

LtCol Davis, you will be greatly missed across the formation. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Marines and Sailors of 4th AA Bn. Fair winds and following seas as you begin your next chapter!
