Recertified as an American Heart Association (Basic Life Support and HeartSaver), FEMA/FDEM G-400 (Advanced ICS for Command & General Staff) and FEMA/FDEM G-191 (Incident Command System/Emergency Operations Center Interface).

Two big accomplishments about to be completed this month for Tampa Bay Training. 1) moved into new office in downtown Tampa and 2) new website going to be released on Friday.

We are very excited about the changes and development of our company.

Next on the list of todos are to develop our cadre of instructors. We already have several that we work with but looking to expand to increase our breadth and depth of knowledge and experience available to serve our clients.

I was at a great meeting with the APWA West Coast Branch (Florida) Meeting today. It started out with a great management/leadership presentation from Perry Lopez. Then the group decided to merge my Education & Training Committee with he Technical Sessions Committee. Looking forward to working to modify our strategic planning documents. The fellowship at these meetings is out of this world. I encourage everyone in the Public Works Sector to join and be active. I would like to invite those in the City Management sector of local government to at least attend. You vision will be enhanced as it relates to infrastructure planning, maintenance and operations.
