Coming up next week: US@250: The Big Watch! Thanks to New Hampshire Humanities for bringing this program to Tamworth.

This program is part of a statewide series of community events based around a shared “watch” and discussion of a segment of The American Revolution, a film directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt. The film screening and discussion, facilitated by Mary Adams of the New Hampshire Historical Society, will take place at the library on Wednesday, May 6, at 7:00 PM.

We love National Poetry Month! Come celebrate at the library!
Check out our generous poetry section. The lovely poetry-themed painting is by librarian Peggy Johnson. Join Peggy and others on the next two Monday mornings to from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM for coffee and a time to explore a poetry writing practice of writing just four lines at a time. And, on April 27th, join us for our monthly Poetry Hour, from 5 to 6pm, when we gather to read poems aloud to each other. Bring your favorites, leave with new favorites.
