We are having our 56th annual Chicken BBQ tomorrow 7/18/26 and as of now may be our final endeavor. This all due to lack of manpower to set up and service of a great community event and fundraiser. Just a brief history of our event, yes we do encourage you to bring your own pot (not what you think 🤣🤣🤣). Definitely not blessed with good weather every year but we do have takeouts. Out of 56 years I will say only in the last few years, we do serve “a ton of” chicken every year. I will attest to we get 2000 pounds of chicken. I can not tell you how many man-hours we have done each year but our members as well as some others have and enjoyed all the work put in. Like many others, we are getting old and tired.
I would like all of you if possible to come Saturday 4-6 for takeouts and 5-8 for sit-down, $15 per person. I know weather is not sounding good but we will make your day with great food and hopefully a community get together.
I want to thank some of our supporters and i will be posting more shortly. Can not wait to see you there .
