We love opening our doors to the next generation, building connections with our community, and helping our youngest residents learn the importance of fire safety.

A big thank you to Taos Pueblo Day School for bringing the Kinder through 2nd Graders to visit us. We hope our little firefighters had as much fun as we did!

Your Taos Firefighters had the pleasure of visiting the UNM Kids Campus students today! Our firefighters provided fire safety presentations, shared important fire prevention lessons, and spent time interacting with the kids.

Learning fire safety at an early age helps build awareness, confidence, and habits that can last a lifetime. We’re proud to connect with our community, educate our youngest residents, and help keep Taos safe—one little firefighter at a time

🚨 A working smoke alarm can save your life.

A working smoke alarm gives you and your family an early warning and significantly increases your chances of surviving a home fire.

Test your alarms. Replace the batteries. Make sure everyone in your home knows two ways out.

🔥 This Fire Prevention Week, make sure your smoke alarms are working.
