The Couse-Sharp Historic Site

The Couse-Sharp Historic Site The home and studio of painter E. I. Couse and the two studios of J. H. Sharp.

The traditional adobe home, the earliest parts dating back to the 1830s, contains Couse’s furnishings, collections, and paintings of Native Americans. The site also includes two studios of Joseph Henry Sharp, Couse’s neighbor and colleague in the Taos Society of Artists.
