We are proud to announce that our Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program has officially expanded to serve New Mexico's 4th Judicial District, which includes Mora, San Miguel, and Guadalupe Counties, effective July 2026.

This expansion means more children going through the child welfare system in Northeast New Mexico will have access to a trained, dedicated advocate to speak up for their best interests in court and beyond.

We are grateful for the support that made this growth possible, and we look forward to serving even more children and families across our community.

As school starts and our summer intern wrapped up her time with us, we want to take a moment to celebrate Adria and everything she brought to our team!

Adria showed up everyday with creative that made our work better, patience and warmth with kids, and a self-starter energy! Adria is genuine, thoughtful, and proactive in every sense, she made an impact that will stick with using after summer ends!

What a day! ☀️ Big thanks to Friends of Rio Grande del Norte National Monument for taking us out on the National Monument for an archaeology hike. Ben was an engaging guide and teacher! We learned so much and saw incredible views and wildlife. Grateful for organizations like these that make our local history and landscapes come alive for the next generation. 💜

A HUGE thank you to Twirl Taos for bringing fun, hands-on robotics to our Summer of Play program this year! Watching the kids build, code, and problem solve was such a joy, this is exactly why STEAM activities matter so much for youth. They sparkcuriosity, build confidence, and show kids they can be creators of technology, not just consumers of it. 🤖💡

Congrats to our 3 new CASA Advocates, Meesha, Leslie, & Elly! They recently completed their 30-hour volunteer training and will be advocating for foster youth in the 8th Court District in Taos. We know they are going to make a wonderful difference in the lives of the kids they serve! 💜
