The Taos Pueblo War Chief’s Office, in partnership with Animal Protection New Mexico, invites Taos Pueblo members to take advantage of an upcoming Equine Wellness Clinic.

Keeping our horses healthy is an important part of caring for the animals that continue to hold a special place within our families, traditions, and Pueblo way of life.

Services available include:

🐎 Deworming

We encourage community members with horses to take advantage of this opportunity and help us promote responsible care and the health and wellness of our animals.

🌿 Lillian Romer Senior Senter Elder Forum: Healing with Traditional Plant Medicine 🌿

Join us for an afternoon of learning, healing, and sharing traditional knowledge with Chasity Salvador of Acoma Pueblo.

Together, we'll explore medicinal plants native to our region that support: 💚 Heart health 🧠 Brain health 🌿 Joint and muscle wellness
Participants will learn about several traditional healing plants and work together to create a collective healing salve to share with our elders.
Chasity Salvador is a Pueblo farmer, traditional seedkeeper, herbalist, doula, massage therapist, and founder of Sandstone Farm. Her work is deeply rooted in Indigenous food and seed sovereignty, traditional plant medicine, and the healing of Pueblo communities through culture, land stewardship, and ancestral knowledge.

✨ While this forum is centered on our elders, community members of all ages are welcome to attend. If you're interested in traditional plant medicine or simply curious to learn more, we encourage you to join us. Let's come together to honor our elders and help ensure this valuable knowledge is carried forward to future generations.
