Preston has been such a wonderful supporter of our JCIS family, partnering with us for so many events and special occasions throughout the year. This week, he went above and beyond once again by entering our school into a Teacher Appreciation grant alongside 160 other schools — and JCIS was selected as the winner! 🎉
On Tuesday, our staff was surprised with a special visit from Food Lion’s corporate office, several of our local Food Lion Tappahannock sales associates, and of course Preston himself. Every teacher received items to prepare a meal at home, $25 gift cards, snacks, and thoughtful gift bags for Teacher Appreciation Week.
It truly is the little things that remind educators they are seen, valued, and appreciated. Every gesture, big or small, that has been shown to our staff this week has meant more than words can express.
