It’s a beautiful day in Tarentum!

Come spend some time in town today. Stop down at the marina to check out the new chimney swift tower, launch a boat, or enjoy some fishing along the river.

Looking for something fun for the kids? The spray park is open and ready for a great afternoon.

And while you’re out, grab lunch or dinner at the Summit Hose Company’s fundraiser and support our local volunteers. You can also stop by the newly opened Clark Candies Ice Cream Café for a sweet treat.

It’s a great day to enjoy Tarentum, support local, and spend time in the community.

The Borough of Tarentum will officially transition to its new utility billing and financial software system BS&A on Monday, June 1, 2026.

To support system setup, testing, and staff training, the Borough Office will be closed on Monday, June 1. We anticipate reopening on Tuesday, June 2, however services will be limited through Thursday, June 4 as staff focus on ensuring utility billing, payments, and customer accounts are functioning accurately.

During this period, the following services will be temporarily unavailable except in emergency situations:

• Non-emergency work orders
• Electrical, Code, Zoning, and Water Permit applications and processing
• Certain account changes and administrative requests

Staff will prioritize:

• Utility payments and customer account assistance
• Utility billing review and corrections, if needed
• Payroll and essential Borough operations
• Addressing any issues related to the software conversion

As a reminder, most residents' and business owners' account numbers will remain the same. Your account number can be found on your current bill or any utility bill issued within the past year.

Online payment services, including the new payment portal and website link, are expected to go live next week. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.

You can review the postcard with more information by clicking the link below.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement this important upgrade to improve service for our residents and customers.
