One final push!

We have a VERY limited number of Pool Books left, and they will be first come, first served. If you are interested in supporting your local fire department, rooting on the black and gold, and a chance to win some cash, than look no further! We are just a few books away from being sold out, and we know they will go fast! If you are interested, drop a comment below, and one of our members will reach out to you for a pickup time.

As we wrap up our final cookout of the season, we want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support Summit Hose Company throughout the summer. Whether you stopped by once or visited us both times, your support means more to us than you know.

While “our” cookouts have come to an end, we’re not done just yet! You’ll still be able to find us at Lower Burrell No. 3’s Food Truck Rally in September and Tarentum Recreation Board’s Boo Fest in October. We hope to see many familiar faces there, and stay tuned for more details on that.

We also wanted to take a moment to address some of the feedback we’ve received over the course of these cookouts.

First, thank you. We genuinely appreciate everyone who took the time to share their thoughts. We heard the comments about the burgers, and we’ll be taking a fresh look at our seasoning before next season. We’ve also been continuing to experiment with our chicken wings to improve their texture and keep them from becoming soggy.

As for the hot dogs, for the July event, we decided to switch to Nathan’s Famous, hoping to offer an even better product. Unfortunately, the end result just wasn’t what we had hoped for, and many of you let us know. That’s exactly the kind of feedback that helps us improve, and we’ll be reevaluating our approach for next season.

At the end of the day, these cookouts are for the community. We want to serve food that we’re proud of and that you’ll look forward to coming back for year after year. We’re always learning, always improving, and most importantly, we’re listening.

Thank you again for another great cookout season. We look forward to seeing everyone again in September and October!
