East Huntingdon Township Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Traffic Incident Management (PA Version) course presented by PA State Fire Academy Field Instructor Duane Spencer.

📅 Sunday, July 26, 2026
🕛 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 East Huntingdon Township VFD
120 Fire Department Rd., Tarrs, PA 15688

✅ Minimum Age: 14
✅ Open to East Huntingdon members and outside departments

Cost:
• East Huntingdon Twp. FD members: FREE
• Outside FD students: $35 tuition + $10 material fee

Registration is required no later than 7 days prior to the course date.

We are aware of trees down in some areas, partially blocking roadways. Unfortunately we cannot touch them until Westpenn Power is able to remove the powerlines. We will provide updates of when WestPenn Power can have power restored.

At 3pm today fire, public works and EMA crew were activated for multiple calls from the storm. Crews spent around 6 hours clearing trees and debris. We have responded to 40 plus calls so far.

Thank you to Mt Pleasant VFD and New Stanton VFD for assisting

And Thank you to our Ladies Auxiliary for providing food and drinks.
