Calling all Residents of Sleepy Hollow & Tarrytown

We are having our own commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States on Sunday November 1, 2026. Mark your calendar to join your neighbors starting at 11:45 am on RiverWalk in Sleepy Hollow for the landing of the British followed by a ceremony commemorating how Westchester came together to heal all divisions after the war. We'll then process down RiverWalk for an afternoon of performances, music, historical crafts, living history, food trucks and more in Tarrytown's Pierson Park.

The quilts including hearts and large squares made by hundreds of residents have been stitched together by a dedicated team of volunteers and will be presented to each village at the event. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Sleepy Hollow High School Auditorium. For more information visit bit.ly/TarrytownSleepyHollow250 or email [email protected].
