The New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is being encouraged to interpret the Birds and Bees Protection Act in a way that would effectively nullify the Act’s prohibition on lawn and garden use of neonic systemic pesticides. To protect the law, New Yorkers, and New York’s environment from toxic neonic pesticides, we are encouraging everyone to sign this sign-on letter to Gov. Hochul, a copy of which will also be sent to DEC.

If you're interested in signing, please fill out the form by Friday, October 16.
