Today was the last day for rope tech rescue class for two of our members. They spent the day building highline systems across the gap and moving rescuers and victims back and forth side to side. Our members have learned some valuable skills over the last 80 hrs that will help in our community should the need ever arise.

We would like to add a special thank you to Volunteer Fire Company for their hospitality and for hosting the class. They are an amazing group and a highly skilled. To the instructor, MacDonald, thank you for sharing your wisdom and guidance through their journey.

Tonight's Drill....

The crew worked on haul systems to help familiarize themselves with equipment in our CMC bags. The objective was to set up a high line with a controlled trolley to see how to move an object over a controlled environment, while learning how to use anchor points.

A few of our members spent their day continuing on with the rope rescue technician class. Yesterdays training took place at the Fire Tower at Dixon R Miller Recreation area in the township. Topics included ascending rope, knot passes, pick offs and basic high line set up.
Special thanks to Tunkhannock twsp vol fire company station 42 for their hospitality and setting up this awesome class.
