Such a fun time last night at Deep Pond Farm and Stables. It was Coffee and Conversation with the Taunton Public Schools.
The weather was perfect, there was pizza, cookies, and drinks to enjoy. Animals to see and music in the background.
We were happy to offer hygiene bags and Bombas socks for all ages .
I spoke to many families explaining our program and inviting them to come and enjoy a meal.....all for free.
If you know a family that is struggling with food insecurity, parents who are concerned about how to feed the kids when school closes for the summer please tell them about us! Better yet, offer to come with them. The first step through our door is the hardest, but with a friend by your side it is easier!
We are family and kid friendly, the Kid Zone offers crayons, paper to draw, and other activities. We have high chairs and booster seats for all the littles.
Everyone is welcome at our table.

Taunton Area Community Table Meal Center will be at the next Coffee and Conversation night, tentatively scheduled for June 18 at Hopewell Park.

One of the best things about TacT is how much our community has our back. The produce prices are going through the roof and fresh green salad is a MUST for our guests. Two wonderful things happened today:

First, a gentleman at Market basket paid for our produce this morning when we went to checkout. He said, “I love what you guys are doing there”. Almost brought me to tears.

Second, this afternoon while talking to the team, I told them how we REALLY needed lettuce greens for next week but with prices increasing our options were limited. Then out of nowhere, Sarah from Freedom Farm in Raynham showed up with 6 cases of lettuce greens. …
someone is definitely looking out for us! Thank you Freedom Farm and thank you to the gentleman this morning at Market Basket on 138. 😍

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Mike, a beloved guest and military veteran who frequented our establishment. For years, Mike sat at the same table, and in recognition of his dedication and service, we will maintain the seat in his honor for the week.
