***TRAFFIC ADVISORY***

Taylor Borough’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. The parade will begin at Taylor Hose and Engine Company #1 and end at the Taylor Community Center.

All streets along the route will be closed by police at approximately 9:45 A.M. Please use caution and expect traffic delays.

The Taylor Police Department would like to thank Senator Marty Flynn and State Representative Jim Haddock for their continued support of our community and public safety initiatives.

Through Local Share Account funding approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, Taylor Borough has been awarded:

✅ $100,000 for new police radio equipment
✅ $6,175 for the purchase and installation of security cameras at Derenick and Noakes Parks

These improvements will help enhance communication, strengthen public safety, and provide additional security for our residents and visitors.

We appreciate the ongoing partnership and investment in the safety of Taylor Borough.

Please be advised that Pioneer Construction will be working throughout the borough over the next couple of weeks to update water meters at each residence.

Pioneer Construction has been contracted by Pennsylvania American Water to complete this work. Their crews will be operating three (3) white Ford Broncos, identified as Unit #280, #281, and #282.

Residents may see crews in their neighborhoods during this time. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as these important updates are completed.
