March 21 2026 - The Friends of the Taylor Community Library enjoyed hosting members of a Canton-based softball team family at the quarterly used book sale. Crystal Springer of South Lyon proudly said the Detroit Bees Softball Organization that competes 10 months of the year. The squad features girls from around the region who enjoy reading and finding good deals on books. "Taya, Ellenore and Annabelle play on the team and all are big readers," said Coach Crystal, who also is a big reader. "We all bond over books. Taya is a resident of Taylor and invited us all out to shop for books to stock our shelves together." The next Taylor Friends sale is July 11 2026. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is located at 12303 Pardee Road on the campus of Taylor's Heritage Park. Feel free to tag and share the photos in this gallery.

The used book sale at the Taylor Community Library on the campus of Heritage Park continues until 3 pm today. There are tons of books and we hear special sales will be announced in the last hour.
