We have received multiple phone calls, and people coming by the station looking for sandbags, we have also seen some misinformation on Facebook regarding where you can go to get them.

We have two stations set up to build sandbags. If you were in Snowflake, you can go to 325 W. 4th St. S. the Snowflake fire station we have sand and empty bags staged on the east end of the building between the station and the dog park. If you are in Taylor, there is sand and empty bags staged at the southwest entrance through the rodeo grounds off of Center Street.

Unfortunately, we do not have Crews available to help fill sandbags right now. As of 3 o’clock this afternoon both locations were confirmed to have materials remaining to build sandbags.

A special note to our residents and visitors:
Our area is currently seeing a huge influx of summer visitors. Every preventable fire or incident pulls our crews away from their primary mission. Thank you for doing your part to protect our families, homes, and first responders. Together, we can enjoy a safe summer. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting our beautiful community and homes.

🚨 IMPORTANT FIRE RESTRICTIONS REMINDER 🚨
Taylor Snowflake Fire & Medical Department would like to remind our residents in Snowflake and Taylor that we are currently under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions.
❌ The use of ALL fireworks is strictly prohibited at this time.
Due to current dry conditions and elevated fire danger, even a small spark from fireworks can quickly ignite a wildfire that threatens lives, property, and our beautiful communities.
We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in helping keep Snowflake and Taylor safe. Please celebrate responsibly and leave the fireworks to the professionals.
If you see illegal fireworks being used, please report it to the appropriate authorities.
Thank you for helping protect our communities!

Taylor-Snowflake Fire & Medical currently has multiple crews deployed across Arizona assisting with active wildfire incidents.

🔥 Pocket Fire
We have a Type 6 Engine and a type 3 Engine assigned to the Pocket Fire. One crew is working night operations alongside hand crews conducting backburn operations to strengthen containment lines and help reduce fire spread. The second crew is assigned to the Structure Protection Group, working to protect homes and other structures that have the potential to be threatened by the fire.

🔥 Sycamore Fire
Our Tactical Water Tender crew is assigned to the Sycamore Fire, supporting firefighting operations by supplying water to engines and crews working across the incident.

These deployments are made possible through the strong partnerships we share with neighboring agencies. We would like to thank Vernon Fire District for providing additional staffing support, helping ensure these resources can respond to wildfire incidents while allowing us to continue serving our local communities.

We are proud of our firefighters who continue to serve communities across Arizona while representing Taylor-Snowflake Fire & Medical with professionalism, dedication, and pride.
