Spencer County Animal Shelter is a no-kill facility with only 16 dog kennels. Due to limited space, we try to get all dogs fostered, adopted, or in rescue as soon as possible. This dog is NOT at the shelter

Daisy is around 2 years old. She is a mix, with some kind of hound in her. Not really sure what else. She had puppies about 2 months ago but they have all been rehomed, she is super sweet. Great with other animals and great with kids. She is scared of cats but does okay with them. She is potty trained to go outside, she was flea treated and dewormed last week. 🚨 We are in desperate need of the following items, if you have extra blankets in your home or can help with the following we would forever be greatful.

* Blankets, sheets (not fitted), towels

* Purina one dry dog food

* Purina one canned puppy food

* Pedigree or Purina one puppy dry food

Update: dog has been reclaimed, this was a case of friends feuding and the animal was caught in the middle of it. The owner said the friend was aware the dog was staying for a day.. regardless, please always remember to make sure people are okay with your animals staying if they/you need a place for a bit.

This Dog was brought to the shelter today.

This dog belongs to Austin white. We have tried reaching out to him with no luck. We were told he left the dog behind at a property of a friends.

This is Gus he's a 9 yr old Aussie. He's up-to-date on all his shots and vaccines. He likes to run high energy. He's OK with some dogs and others. He's not. He's never been aggressive with kids, but has been to the owner, but fine at other times, so a home without kids would be best. His hair has been cut shorter in the summer. This is when he's grown out. He's so beautiful. Is leash trained.
