Today, we’re celebrating the people who .

During the Give Like Dolly Campaign, the Alexander County Partnership for Children collected $247.25 through cash, check, and online donations. In addition, several donors gave directly through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Foundation, contributing another $105.25.

Together, these generous gifts resulted in a grand total of $352.50 raised to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Alexander County!

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, spread the word, partnered with us or simply believes every child should have books of their own: thank you.

Your generosity helps bring the joy of reading into homes, spark
imaginations and create special moments between children and the people who love them.

Dolly often called her Local Imagination Library Partners the “true heroes” of her program. We’re so grateful to have a community that continues that spirit of giving.

Thank you for helping us carry on Dolly's legacy by giving back to the children of Alexander County.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has helped millions of children discover the joy of reading, including more than 240,000 children across North Carolina. Her generosity has also made a difference for families in western North Carolina recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Dolly has left an incredible mark on our state and on generations of children, and it’s an honor to recognize her legacy.
