Senior portraits for the Class of 2027 are scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Taylorsville High School.

If you did not receive your senior portrait packet in the mail, please contact the school office to obtain your scheduled appointment time.

💚💛 Community Support Needed for Our Taylorsville Teachers! 💛💚

Taylorsville Elementary and Taylorsville High School are looking for community sponsors to help us provide teacher incentives as our teachers return to work in August.

Our teachers pour so much time, energy, and love into our students and schools, and we would love to welcome them back with encouragement and appreciation as they begin a new school year.

We are hoping to provide things such as:
🍎 Door prizes
🥐 Breakfast items
🍿 Snacks
🥪 Lunch
☕ Drinks or coffee treats
🎁 Gift cards
💚 Monetary donations to help purchase teacher incentives
We would love to partner with local businesses, churches, organizations, families, and community members who are willing to help us celebrate and encourage our teachers.

All donations, big or small, will make a difference and will help us show our teachers how much they are appreciated.

📚✏️ 2026 Online Registration is Open! ✏️📚

The Smith County School District is excited to begin registration for the 2026-2027 school year! Parents may start the online registration process through their ActiveParent account.

✅ Students must already attend the intended school.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents will log into their current Active Parent account.
📄 Activation code is on the student's end-of-year report card.
📝 Registration is not complete until all forms are submitted and approved by the school clerks.
⚠️ (No student will be approved until all forms are submitted and verified.)
🍎 Child Nutrition form must be filed out online.
📅 (Forms will not be available until July 1, 2026.)
🏠 Proof of Residency must be uploaded.
🔹 Parents may start the online process now.
📌 All uploads and Child Nutrition form will not be available until July 1, 2026.
📍 In-person registration will be July 20–24, 2026

📋 Must have:
📄 Birth Certificate (if not on file at current school)
💉 Immunization Records (if not on file at current school)
🏠 (2) Two Proofs of Residency (May, June, or July Utility Bills)
⚠️ (Utility bills must be water bill, power bill, or gas bill. NOT driver's licenses, tag receipt, cell phone, DirectTV, or medical bills.)

⏰ Deadline will be July 27, 2026

The 2026 Taylorsville baseball team closed out an outstanding season with an appearance in the MHSAA Class 1A State Championship Series.

We would like to thank all of our fans who showed up and supported the Tartars at Trustmark Park in Pearl throughout the championship series.

We would also like to thank our players, coaches, families, and supporters for their commitment and dedication throughout the season.

Congratulations to the Tartars on an exceptional season and a memorable run to the state championship series.

Taylorsville stays alive as the Tartars defeat West Union 10-8 in Game 2 of the MHSAA Class 1A State Championship Series on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Trustmark Park in Pearl, MS.

With the win, Taylorsville evens the series and forces a decisive Game 3 for the state title. 🏆
