We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Marcia Rosenthal of Morrisonville. Marcia served as a longtime Precinct Committeeperson for Ricks Township and most recently as CCRCC Treasurer.

Marcia loved to help others and serve her community. She volunteered and served in many roles, including at Morrisonville Community Ambulance Service, St. Maurice Catholic Church, the 911 Board, and other organizations.

Please pray for Marcia's husband Wayne and the entire Rosenthal family. Visitation and funeral arrangements can be found at the link below. Please consider a memorial to Morrisonville Community Ambulance Services or the Disciples of Mercy Ministry at St. Maurice to honor the life and legacy of Marcia.

Thank you to our wonderful Christian County Clerk Jodie Badman and her great team for administering yet another smooth election. There’s a huge amount of critical and time sensitive work that goes on behind the scenes in the weeks running up to Election Day, and we commend Jodie and her team for getting the job done yet again.

We have two Republican candidates running for Christian County Sheriff. The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17. Early and absentee voting are open now at the courthouse. Vote Republican!

The son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren of Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey were killed in a helicopter crash.

We had a GREAT turnout at our free “Pizza and Petitions” event at Florinda’s today. Over 140 people turned out throughout the evening to help get our great Republican candidates on the ballot for the 2026 Primary.

Special thanks to everyone who attended, our Republican candidates for county, judicial, state, and federal office, and our great hosts at Florinda's Pizza Ristorante Italiano. The pizza was fantastic!
