It was a busy week of training at the Taylorville Fire Department.

TFD hosted a Paramedic Skills Week while also conducting a Rope Operations course focused on building the technical skills needed for complex rescue situations.

We would like to thank Ryan Evans for joining us as our expert instructor and sharing his knowledge and experience throughout the Rope Operations course.

TFD also teamed up with the Litchfield Fire Department, with a total of eight members completing the course. Training alongside our neighboring departments strengthens our capabilities, builds teamwork, and helps ensure we are prepared when these specialized skills are needed.

Special thank you to the Taylorville Lake staff for providing us a place to train and to everyone who helped make a busy and productive week of training possible.
