The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 11 p.m. Friday.

To the Family of Robin Sorke and Tazewell City Hall, We at Claiborne County 911 extend our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Robin was a truly beautiful soul, always willing to lend a hand and support anyone in need. Her radiant smile had the power to brighten any room, and her kindness touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Claiborne Co 911 is having admin phone issues, this is working on being resolved as soon as possible the admin numbers seem to be up and down and not making it into dispatch. The 911 lines are not affected. We have alternate numbers that can be used if you are unable to reach us at normal numbers. Alternate numbers 423-626-3000, 626-3131 or 423-526-3800 or 3801. This week has been a truly special one for us at dispatch. We’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude as so many have come by to express their appreciation, each visit touching our hearts in a unique way.
However, the most cherished moment was when sweet baby Franklin, the son of one of our dispatchers, came to visit. His presence filled the room with so much love, reminding us of the deep connections that bind us as a family. Franklin innocence is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their kindness. Your gestures have left a lasting impression, we are truly blessed to be part of such a caring community. 💛
