Tazewell General District Court will be on a DELAYED opening at 10:00 am on Monday, February 23, 2026. If you have a hearing at 9am, it will now be at 10am. The 1pm cases will still be at 1pm.

Tazewell General District Court will be on a DELAYED opening today, January 15,2026 at 10:00 am, due to the road conditions.

If you have court at 9am your case will now be heard at 10am. If you have court at 11am your case will be heard at 11am. The 1pm cases will be heard at 1pm.

Holiday Closure Notice – Tazewell County Courthouse

The Tazewell County Courthouse will be closed on the following dates:
December 24–26, 2025
January 1, 2026

In addition, the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, General District Court, and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court will also be closed on December 31, 2025, as authorized by the Judicial Council.
