Our 2026 library summer activities and programs have come to an end. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated summer with us! Reading logs can still be turned in for prizes until August 18th.

Beginning Monday, August 17th, our school hours will change to:

Monday 3:30-7:00
Tuesday 3:30-7:00
Wednesday 3:30-7:00
Thursday 3:30-7:00
Friday Closed
Saturday 9:00-Noon

Good morning! Due to cooler weather, we are going to cancel the pool party this morning. Please come to the library instead for chalk, bubbles, story time and a craft!

Magician today, 10:00 at the Library!!

Destination plans need to include going either on First Street (Highway going west out of town) or High Pointe to the gravel (468th) - west of the high school.

Then turn right (from First Street) or left (from High Pointe) and you have arrived at the high school campus!

Just a reminder...Monday, July 27th, please join us at the City Park by the pool at 10:00 for Reading in the Park. We are planning to bring a bag of books, but feel free to bring your own as well. There will be a snack and drink provided.

Other dates to remember:

Last Storytime and Craft - Wednesday, July 29th at 10:00 at the library

Magician - Monday, August 3rd at 10:00 at the library

End of Summer Pool Party - Wednesday, August 5th, 10:00 - 11:30 at the Tea City Pool

Beginning Monday, August 17th - Library Hours will be changing to our school hours. Hours will then be Monday-Thursday, 3:30-7:00, Saturdays 9:00-12:00.

Reminder - Please come Tuesday, July 14th across from Venture Elementary playground in the athletic complex field for our archery event for all ages with Outdoor Campus!

Wow! So much fun!

We had 69 library friends hearing a story, then making a popsicle/ice cream craft with Char's Crafts & Creations last Monday!

On Wednesday, 42 friends heard 3 stories from our guest readers Shannon and Chloe, then made super cute animal puppets!

Coming up next week...

Tuesday, July 14th across from Venture Elementary, we will be hosting Outdoor Campus Archery at 10:00 for all ages! Please join us!

Storytime with craft at the library is Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00!

We'd love to see you at all events!

Now that the 4th of July holiday is over, please join us right here at the library on:

Monday, July 6th at 10:00 Char's Crafts & Creations for a super fun & original summer craft/creation of your very own to take home presented to us by the one and only creative Char!

Wednesday, July 8th storytime and craft at 10:00 with Shannon reading This Book Just Ate My Dog (about Bella's dog who disappeared in the gutter (center fold of the book) by Richard Byrne and craft to follow!) We will need everyone's help to turn and shake the book to rescue our friend(s)!
