I am up for re-election this next year and I am asking for your vote! I have served the last three years with distinction and have worked hard to improve the operation of this agency. I have been in law enforcement for 38 years and have served as a Chief of Police in two cities. I am a graduate from the Leadership Command College at Sam Houston State and a Graduate from the FBI National Academy at Quantico Virginia Class # 256. I want take a moment to say that this week has been difficult to many. As the Constables office has been out in this weather assisting precinct 2 and Freestone County, I was not alone! The sheriffs Department, Constable 1,3 and 4 along with the Texas Department of Public Safety and all the fire Departments, local police departments in this county also worked hard to make this county safe.

So many first responders Medics ambulance crews responded at a moments call. Of course we cannot leave out the Dispatchers who have been answering call after call for assistance. I have to say that the citizens of this county should feel blessed because your first responders have your back!
