Your sacrifice, courage, and commitment keep our communities safe every single day. We are grateful for you—today and always. God is great, spend as much time with your family and friends as you can and make sure you tell them that you love them often!

This statement means so much, in small towns though it is often taking care of people you grew up with or helped raise you. The majority of people in EMS across the nation are volunteers, missing out on their own family activities or holidays, but are still willing to give back to their communities. We strive to help any agency continue to help their community by assisting them with billing to fund their service to keep up to date equipment to provide the highest level of patient care. We always encourage everyone to look into volunteering on your local volunteer rescue squad.

Owners: Mitch & Emilie Neemann
The Story Behind the Business: In the Spring of 2021, Mitch and Emilie took a leap of faith, blending Mitch’s passion for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with Emilie’s expertise in medical coding and health insurance to launch HMKB Billing, LLC. Mitch, as chief of Tecumseh Rescue, recognized a need for local EMS billing services that understood the community. After discussing the idea with Commissioner Scotty Gottula, Scotty encouraged them to take the plunge with, “Why don’t you guys do it?” With his support, they connected with the commissioners and the ambulance board, and their dream took off. Their primary goal was to support Johnson County Ambulance Service (Tecumseh, Sterling & Cook departments) by offering local billing services so they wouldn't have to outsource. In August 2021, they began billing for Johnson County Ambulance Service, and since then, they've expanded, now servicing 8 different departments throughout Nebraska.
The Story Behind the Business Name: The name HMKB Billing, LLC, is a tribute to their four daughters: Hayley, Maecee, Kloie, and Baeley.
Products and Services: HMKB Billing specializes in EMS Billing, handling both BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advanced Life Support) services.
How Long Have You Been in Business? HMKB Billing has been proudly serving the community for 4 years. Currently operating as a home-based business, Mitch and Emilie are open to expansion if the need arises but are content with their current setup.
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
