We are currently experiencing some parking issues at SHHS. If you have a parking spot at SHHS and find that someone has taken your spot, please temporarily park your vehicle in the last row of the north lot, and report your issue to the main office so we can fix the problem.

Please refrain from using the spot next to you or nearby spots as it creates a domino effect and causes multiple cars having to be moved. Thank you all for your help, working together on the parking issue helps keep main office staff available to provide other assistance as needed.

USD 450 Police would like to recognize Isaiah. Isaiah is the first ever Shawnee Heights Police student worker to complete 2 years working with Shawnee Heights Police! Unfortunately, the face to face school year didn’t go as planned with the buildings closing, so there wasn’t time to plan something special and recognize Isaiah (as you may remember, the below photo is from last years recognition).

If you see Isaiah out and about, please congratulate Isaiah on something that no one has done before, and for setting the standard for student workers in the future. Apologies again go out to Isaiah, as his time and effort absolutely deserved a unique and special recognition. We are all looking forward to seeing the great things Isaiah will do next year moving forward. Congrats again Isaiah on a job well done!

Friendly reminder to all:
With the current situation through out Shawnee County and the State of Kansas, USD 450 has closed all athletic facilities that would normally have hours open to the public. Please feel free to share as a reminder to all as areas to work out become more limitied as things progress. Thank you all in advance for your assistance in creating a healthier and safer environment for everyone!
