Did you know it’s National Friends of the Library Week? 📚

Happy National Friends of Libraries Week! 🎉

This week, we recognize and celebrate the volunteers everywhere who support their libraries in all kinds of ways—from fundraising to advocacy to spreading the word about all the great things the library has to offer.

YOU can become a friend of your library and make a lasting difference in your community. Ask your librarian about joining your library's Friends group, or consider starting your own if your library doesn't have one yet.

Check this out!

We’re pleased to announce a new StoryWalk® partnership with Raisin Charter Township! Our first story, The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, is now on display along the path between the North and South Pavilions at Mitchell Memorial Park. The story will change several times a year.

Join us at the park at 10:30 on Wednesday, October 14, for a special storytime and official ribbon cutting, with c***r and donuts, weather permitting.

This project was made possible by funding from the Friends of the Tecumseh District Library and support from the Raisin Township DPW.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
