Hello Everyone,

We hope you all enjoyed Fall Break. Now it’s time to get back into the swing of things. The PTA is busy with two events this month. We have a spirit night on October 21 and the Fall Festival October 25 from 11-2 at the school.

We aren’t able to run the Fall Festival without volunteers, please email [email protected] or send band text to let us know if you can volunteer and for how long. It can be 30min, 1 hr, 2hr or 3. It’s up to you.

If you have a Food City card, please go into your account and link Grandview to it. Points for the 2025-2026 school year start today. The points earn Grandview Money. We recently got over a $700 check from them for last school year. It’s an easy way to support the school.

Hello Everyone,

I hope the first couple of weeks of school has gone well, and everyone is adjusting to the school routine.

We will be having our first PTA meeting on August 19th at 6pm in the cafeteria.

I welcome everyone that can attend. We are going to discuss upcoming events such as the first couple of spirit nights and the Fall Festival, and we would love people to volunteer for these events so we can continue supporting our students and teachers.

We will also announce the VIP PTA spot winner.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you and your families had a great summer. PTA would love to see you at Open House on July 31st. Please stop by and sign up as members and volunteers. We do want to inform you our membership fees went up to $7 this year. This was a requirement by the National PTA, as they raised our school fees to be part of the organization.

We also have two board member openings, Vice President and Secretary. If you are interested please inquire. We really need at least 3 active board members to have a successful PTA.

We would like to continue serving Grandview Teachers and students to the fullest, but we can’t do it without members actively being involved. There are so many activities that we would love to continue, and bring parent/guardian involvement.

We would like to host a Fall Festival on October 25th, and we need at least 20-30 volunteers that would be committed to help the President and Treasurer to organize it, set up, and be at the festival in various roles. If you are interested and able to help in any capacity for this event, please inquire about it at Open House or email [email protected].
If we don’t have enough support we will not be able to host it, and we will miss out on one of our biggest fundraisers to help the teachers and students when they need supplies.
We appreciate your participation and helping our school. See you all soon.
