UBCTG was started in 2019 to find financial resources to assist officers of the Magisterial District Courts in the performance of their duties. Constables are NOT taxpayer funded and have not received a fee inrease by the Pennsylvania General Assembly since August 2006.
Therefore we seek resouces to provide training beyond the bare minimum provided by Constables.
Increased training will help us in goal to assist in providing safety to protected persons in domestic violence and mental health related law enforcement matters.
Our training is also so expensive, we are seeking to provide a scholarship to pay for training.
Doing all these activities allow Constables to assist the Police Officers, so that they can stay on patrol and do their job as Police.
