This organization was formed by residents of Perry County, IN as a partnership between the community and the county officials to help prevent crime and provide safety tips to county residents and other online users to prevent them from being a victim of a crime. The Perry County Watch program also covers disaster preparedness tips which again, provides safety tips and gives information on things y

ou should keep on hand when natural disasters and severe weather strikes.. When Perry County is threatened by severe weather and the NWS issues alerts for the community, they will be posted on this page as well to make the residents aware of the weather or threat's presence! *Attention Residents*

Local police officers will be watching for Santa to arrive in Perry County tonight and will be providing him an es**rt. Tune in to our social media page to hear a live broadcast of his trip through the county with the kiddos. The expected time of arrival will be approximately 8:30pm, but is subject to change depending on priority emergency activity and of course the cooperation of the reindeer. This service is provided courtesy of Tell City Police Central Dispatch and Perry County Law Enforcement.

It’s challenging to describe the level of teamwork we witnessed today with local and neighboring fire crews, first responders, and volunteers. Compassion, generosity, support, and fellowship comes to mind. While it was a tough day for this community, we are reminded that the sun still shines over this community even in it’s darkest times.
