NOW HIRING: WORKING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Full-Time
The Tell City Housing Authority is seeking a dependable, hands-on Working Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
This position is responsible for directing daily maintenance activities, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work assignments, ensuring timely completion of work orders, and maintaining Housing Authority properties in a safe, clean, and well-kept condition. Participation in the maintenance on-call rotation is required.
The Working Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Executive Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Supervise and participate in daily maintenance activities.
• Assign, monitor, and follow up on work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform and oversee routine, preventive, and emergency repairs.
• Assist with unit turnovers, make ready preparations, and HUD/NSPIRE inspections.
• Perform or oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and general repairs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as required by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and repairs.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work with residents, staff, and contractors.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
