San Miguel County Search and Rescue

San Miguel County Search and Rescue San Miguel Search and Rescue is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to saving lives and providing rescue services throughout the county.

The San Miguel County Sheriff's Office is responsible for all search and rescue activities. San Miguel County Search and Rescue is a volunteer based organization under direction of the Sheriff's office dedicated to saving lives and providing rescue services throughout the county. The San Miguel County Search and Rescue team covers approximately 1,200 square miles ranging from high altitude desert

to high alpine in excess of 14,000 feet. The teams members are trained in various skill sets in order to provide rescue services from 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
