AZ educators are raising major concerns about Prop. 320, which would force school districts to spend 60% of their budgets on “direct” instruction. Without adding new funding, educators warn the mandate could force budget cuts to essential support staff like counselors, nurses, and literacy coaches.

A new national report reveals that federal funding disruptions have cut off millions meant for teacher recruitment, school lunch programs, university research, and student scholarships across Arizona. This is devastating for a state whose schools are already chronically underfunded!
