The district has an enrollment of nearly 4,000 students that routinely exceed state averages in assessments such as the M-STEP, MME and SAT thanks to the efforts of our dedicated staff, the hard work of our students, and the support of parents and our community.

Some additional information on the opening of the Bicentennial Time Capsule:

-Student safety protocols will have our JRE students on the grass and behind the loop drive in front of the school.

-Ceremony will be held on the west edge of the loop directly in front of the school. This is near where the time capsule was initially buried.

-While we will have a stage for the opening/unveiling, it cannot be high enough for adults to stand directly in front of and not block the view of our students. Therefore, adults will be stationed directly to the left or right of the stage so that they will have a full view and allow students to view the ceremony as well.

-We look forward to having both the public and our JRE staff and students take part in this special event.

This Wednesday, we thank Principal Kim Ortiz and the entire Jackman Road Elementary staff (hello? It will be after he graduates, but we don't think he will mind. Mule Pride for Taleon G, who shot a 73 at the Polo Fields to qualify for the State Tournament in golf. He finished 5th overall in the regional. Congratulations Taleon, and GO MULES!!!
