🚨 Emergency Lights? Pull to the Right! 🚨

When emergency vehicles are rolling code, every single second counts. Whether it’s a deputy unit, fire engine, or ambulance, we need clear lanes to reach people in danger safely.

Under California Vehicle Code 21806, motorists are required to pull to the right-hand edge of the road and come to a complete stop when lights and sirens are active behind them.

Quick Reminders:

🎧 Keep distractions down so you can hear sirens early.

➡️ Signal and move safely to the right shoulder or curb.

🚦 Caught in an intersection? Drive through first, then pull over to the right.

🛑 Stay stopped until all emergency vehicles pass.
