Senator Joseph Martin will be in the Town Hall today from 10 am to Noon for an open house conversation to hear your thoughts and concerns.

Wanted: Republican Election Clerk for June 9.
Must be available to work the afternoon shift and count after the polls close, 2pm until all counting is finished.

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a registered Maine voter
- Must be a resident of Temple or Franklin County
- 16 & 17 year olds who are conditionally registered to vote are allowed to serve
- Must not be a candidate or a member of a candidate’s immediate family

Duties and Tasks:
- Check in voters at the Incoming Voter’s List check-in table
- Distribute ballots
- Monitor the voting machine or ballot box
- Help tally results at the end of the night

Please come to the Office during open hours to express your interest!

Mitchell Brook Road and Edes Brook Road: tomorrow will resume your curbside pickup for garbage.

Mud Season has arrived! Which means roadside garbage pickup had temporarily ended for some roads here in Temple.

There are dumpsters for the end of Intervale, at the start of Swamp Road and Staples Pond Road. The location of the Edes Brook Road dumpster has moved to Mr. Buddy Mosher’s driveway; which is the driveway on the left, just before the bridge and Edes Brook Road.

Mitchell Brook Road and Dean Mountain Road, please take your garbage down to the main road for pickup.

The town office will be closed today, Monday Feb. 23. All State offices are closed. We will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, 11am to 7pm.

Trash Pickup and Recycling

We apologize for the confusion with the scheduling and pickup. An explanation is forthcoming in the next edition of the Temple Times.

In the meantime, garbage pickup will remain the same. Clean recyclables can be deposited in a dumpster at the Town Hall.
