TVAC is dedicated to providing the most rapid and appropriate response to medical emergencies since 1992.

Our membership is made up of your friends and neighbors who volunteer their time and respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

On August 12th, TVAC, alongside various local police, fire, and ambulance departments attended a Touch-A-Truck event for the Neil Klatskin Summer Camp at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades! 🚔🚒🚑

TVAC members loved meeting with the campers and showing them Ambulance 42 and the Gator, an off-roading vehicle! 🚑🚨

This past Saturday, TVAC hosted its a Blood Drive with Vitalant! 🚑🩸

June is Pride Month and the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance is a PROUD ally of Tenafly Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community!

This morning, TVAC was on standby for the Tenafly 5k!

TVAC members staffed 5 event crews, including an off-roading Gator, as well as staffed 7 race posts throughout the course! Ambulance 42 was staffed to respond to emergencies throughout the Borough.

37 members. 5 crews staffed. 7 TEF race posts staffed. 6 vehicles utilized. 1 department.

Thank you for another great year! We will see everyone at the next race on June 6th, 2027 🏃‍♂️🥇🏃‍♀️

Happy Memorial Day from the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance!

TVAC attended Tenafly’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony to honor all of the service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Today and everyday, we thank you for your service 🚑🚨🇺🇸

TVAC at Tenafly Night Market 2026!

TVAC members tabled and were on standby throughout Tenafly Night Market yesterday. TVAC loves meeting community members at town events to share information, resources, and first aid supplies. Thank you to all those who made Tenafly’s first Night Market a success! We cannot wait for next year 🚑🐯🚨

TVAC was on standby this morning for the 2026 Kaplan JCC on the Palisades’ Rubin Run!

EMS command was established and run by Assistant Captain Rachel Gallay, and TVAC members staffed 9 crews. Our responder vehicles, off-roading Gator, and Walking Crews were stationed throughout the courses of the 10K, 5K, and 1-mile fun run to ensure runners’ safety. Additionally, TVAC staffed ambulance 42 for the event and ambulance 41 to remain on standby for town emergencies.

TVAC thanks everyone for their participation in the event and wishes a happy Mother’s Day to all of our members’ mothers and families who support our members, TVAC, and the Borough of Tenafly every day!
