🚨 NO OVERNIGHT PARKING — SUNDAY FEBRUARY 22ND 🚨
Due to the expected snow storm, overnight parking will be prohibited throughout the borough to allow plows and emergency vehicles to safely clear roadways.

The Tenafly Police Department will be actively patrolling and enforcing the parking ordinance to help keep streets accessible and safe for everyone.

We appreciate your cooperation as our DPW and first responders work through the storm. Please move vehicles off the roadway and plan accordingly.

Stay safe Tenafly.

Due to the anticipated snow storm, NO OVERNIGHT PARKING will be in effect tonight (February 21) into February 22.

This temporary parking restriction allows DPW and emergency vehicles to safely and effectively clear roadways.

We ask all residents to:
• Move vehicles off the street overnight
• Use driveways or designated off-street parking
• Drive cautiously and allow extra travel time

Tenafly Police Officers will be actively patrolling and enforcing the restriction to ensure roads remain clear and safe for the community.

Please share to help spread the word and keep Tenafly safe.

🚦 Traffic Update for Residents 🚦
The intersection of East Clinton Ave and Dean Drive is no longer a 3-way stop with a flashing yellow and is now a fully operational cycling traffic signal.

Officers will be present in the area conducting education and enforcement as motorists adjust to the new traffic pattern.

This intersection has historically been hazardous, and this upgrade is intended to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.

We encourage residents to slow down, remain alert, and share this post to help spread awareness throughout the community.

Our officers have been working hard, increasing patrols and taking proactive steps to prevent burglaries and motor vehicle thefts before they happen. But we can’t do it alone.

Most of these crimes are crimes of opportunity. A simple 9PM routine of locking your doors, securing your vehicles, removing key fobs and turning on exterior lights can make all the difference.

We’re committed to protecting this community. Now we’re asking for your partnership. 🔒🚔

Lock it. Close it. Secure it. 🔒

With a recent increase in auto thefts and residential burglaries, we remind residents to take a moment to secure their property. Please remember to lock all vehicle and home doors, remove valuables, and ensure all exterior and garage doors are fully closed.

See something? Say something.
Tenafly looks out for Tenafly.

Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Without your efforts, our police officers and other emergency response services including our Ambulance Corps and Fire Department would not be able to respond effectively to emergencies when our community needs them most.
