Celebrating 30 years of service!
Officer Fredric Edwards has dedicated three decades to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Throughout his career, he’s served as a Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain—and today, he continues to share his knowledge and expertise at the Beto Unit as a K9 Officer.
Thank you, Officer Edwards, for your hard work, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to the agency. 💙

"From March 9th - March 14th Beto unit hosted its 2nd annual March Madness. 15 teams completed in a double elimination competition, spread out through 6 days. Half court shots, game winning shots; a loss by only 1 point ; epic comebacks; many teams having to play back to back games , with little to no break between, each fighting it out on the court to claim the title, and bragging rights. Ending everything on a high note, with a live music performance from one of Beto's own musician, good food, and a lot of laughs, everyone can go back to being friends instead of rivals, until next year, that is.
