🔥 Grass/Brush Fire Update 🔥

Pawnee County Emergency Management is currently on scene with Jennings Fire Department, Terlton Fire Department, and Basin Fire Department at a grass/brush fire. This fire is located in the area of 5800rd and 36400rd.

The fire is under control at this time, and crews have transitioned into the mop-up stage, working to extinguish remaining hot spots and prevent rekindling.

⚠️ Fire Safety Reminder: Never leave any outdoor fire unattended. Always have a reliable water source nearby and make sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the area.

A sincere thank you to the men and women of our local fire departments for the time, hard work, and dedication they continue to give to protect Pawnee County and our surrounding communities. Also a big thanks to Terlton Auxiliary for providing more water and snacks.

Our Terlton Fire Back to School Shoe Drive is COMPLETED!!!
👟 82 kids signed up and 82 kids will receive a new pair of shoes

🔥 we will also being calling every parent this afternoon to confirm pick ups

Yesterday our department and families were invited to a much needed 🥵 hot, but relaxing day by North 48 Fire Department. Our departments coming together for events and family days will continue, and we look forward to it!

Community, we could use your help!

👟 77 kids signed up for a new pair of shoes.
👟 23 pairs of shoes have been purchased.
👟 54 pairs that need to be purchased.

💴 we currently have enough donations to purchase up to 15-20 pairs

Shoe prices are running between $20-$70 a pair

🚨 PEASE READ ENTIRE POST AND FLYER 🚨

🚒The Terlton Fire Department is hosting our Annual Shoe Drive.
👟 Last year we handed out over 120 shoes to the children in our community

🔥 HELP US BEAT THAT RECORD THIS YEAR!!!! 🔥

✔️ We will only accept sign ups on Sunday, July 12th at 2pm at The Terlton Auxiliary Building
✔️ Child must be present
✔️ We will sign up 30 children to start and if we get them funded before July 31st we will open more spots (more spots always open)
✔️ Our plan is to also have several shoes available on sign up day

🧦 👟 💰 Donations for BRAND NEW shoes and socks can be dropped off at the Terlton Water Department as well as cash or check donations
LAST DAY FOR DONATIONS WILL BE 7/31/26
