Learning Beyond the Classroom at ImagineU!

Our TK–2nd grade students had an exciting day of hands-on, experiential learning during their field trip to ImagineU! ✨

Instead of simply learning about the world around them, our students had the opportunity to experience it firsthand! Through interactive activities, exploration, and real-world experiences, students were able to discover how the things they learn in the classroom connect to future careers and the world of work.👩‍🔬👨‍🚀👩‍⚕️👷‍♂️

These engaging experiences help our youngest learners ask questions, solve problems, work together, and begin imagining the possibilities for their own futures. 🌟

We love giving our Wildcats opportunities to learn by doing, explore new possibilities, and dream BIG! 🐾❤️

On Wednesday, August 26, we welcome our students and families to campus for Back to School Night. 🐾📚

Join us for an ice cream social while getting all the details of the school year, visiting your child’s teacher and seeing all the hard work your child is putting in at school. 🏫 See you then!

📚❤️ Book Buddies Are Back! ❤️📚

We’re kicking off the school year with our first Book Buddies event and it was the perfect reminder that learning to read is even more meaningful when we learn together!

Our 8th grade students stepped into leadership roles as they partnered with our TK and Kindergarten students. As reading buddies, our eighth graders encouraged, supported, and celebrated their younger partners as they explored books and built early literacy skills. 📖🐾

Early literacy lays the foundation for future learning. When children develop strong reading skills at a young age, they gain confidence, vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of learning that can carry with them throughout their school years.

But Book Buddies is about more than reading. It gives our youngest Wildcats someone to look up to while giving our oldest students an opportunity to lead, mentor, encourage, and serve as positive role models. Watching our eighth graders patiently guide and cheer on their buddies is what being a school community is all about! ❤️🖤

We are so proud of our eighth graders for leading with kindness and our TK and Kindergarten students for being eager, excited readers! Big Wildcats helping little Wildcats grow, one book at a time! 📚🐾

🎒📚 School is almost back in session! 🐾

Join us for our annual Back to School Meet & Greet on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 7:45–8:15 AM. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, reconnect with friends, and kick off an exciting new school year!

🍩 Donuts & juice will be provided, and all families are welcome.

🌱 Our Roadside Farm Stand is Open! 🌱

Fresh-picked vegetables from our summer garden are available now! Stop by throughout the summer to enjoy locally grown produce harvested by our school agriculture program. Selection varies daily, and all produce should be washed thoroughly before eating.

Thank you for supporting our school, our students, and our agriculture program. Every visit helps provide hands-on learning opportunities and keeps our garden growing. We truly appreciate your support! 🐾🥒🍅

The countdown is officially on, Wildcats! 🐾 We are just 30 days away from welcoming our amazing students back to Saucelito Elementary School, and we couldn't be more excited!

Our staff has been hard at work preparing classrooms, planning exciting learning experiences, and getting everything ready for another incredible year of growth, friendships, and fun.

We can't wait to see familiar faces, meet our newest Wildcats, and kick off a year filled with learning, laughter, and school spirit!

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence and the freedoms that unite us as a nation. As we gather with family and friends, let us also reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and hope that have shaped our country’s history.
