Terrace Park Fire Dept. recently purchased an NRS inflatable raft for responses on the 1.2 mile of the Little Miami river that runs through the Village. Today, four Swift Water Techs from TPFD took the boat out to practice along with Milford Fire Department's on-duty crew. Crews worked on ferry angles, boat flips, self-rescues, victim rescues as well as throw bag work and swims. This training will be done several times a month during the summer to practice skills.
The boat made two runs in the first two weeks that it was in service, and we want to thank our members, residents and mutual aid partners for all the work that has gone into making this happen.
