What is the Mission of Freemasonry?
The Mission of Freemasonry is to promote a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of brotherly love, relief and truth; and, by the outward expression of these through its fellowship, its compassion and its concern.
This page will openly work to advance the tenets of our Craft. We have made it a priority to promote and cultivate in our membership a greater level of interest, involvement, and participation in the rites of Freemasonry.
What is the Mission of Terre Haute Masonic Education?
THME as a page, is an environment, a vehicle, a habitat if you will, designed for the purpose of generating excellent Masons. Masons who from the very beginning of their entrance into the lodge, are impressed upon to take their chosen and accepted journey into the society and culture of Freemasonry seriously.
The purpose of THME is to provide candidates, initiates, and Master Masons alike, with a doorway to the beauty and mysteries of Freemasonry. This Masonic responsibility is met in a manner consistent with inculcating the greatest understanding, respect for, and appreciation of, their acceptance into a Lodge of Master Masons.
THME seeks to cultivate, nurture, and produce motivated Master Masons who are exposed to a Masonic education that emphasizes participation in lodge work, esoteric and philosophical teachings, personal development and excellence in performing Masonic ritual.
We hope to promote Masonry in the Wabash Valley in a way that attracts new members, inspires existing members to be active in their lodge and continue their Masonic education, instills pride in the lodge, and create interaction with the entire Masonic Family.
