Just a quick reminder

This coming Monday night April 20 will be our monthly meeting.

It will be at the Golden corral. The arrangements would be the same as they were last month. Informed the cashier at the door if you’re there to eat and you’ll pay there. If you are wishing to eat, we please be there between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, seating will be in the general dining room. An announcement will be made for those wishing to attend the meeting to move with the drinks only to the private dining room at 7 PM.

This collaborative Stand Down event—hosted by DAV Chapter 9, United Way of the Wabash Valley, and community partners—aims to provide essential resources and services to veterans and their families.

• Personal hygiene kits
• Non-perishable food items

🔹 Services Provided:
• Hot meal service
• Medical & dental screenings
• Mental health resources
• Haircuts
• Employment & resume assistance
• Housing & benefits navigation

Whether you’re a veteran in need of support or someone who wants to spread the word, this event is about showing up for those who have served.

Just a reminder

This coming Monday night February 16, 2026 will be our monthly meeting.

Per the vote conducted at the January meeting we have moved the meeting location back to the Golden Corral.

There are some changes to how we are handling the meeting and meal.

1. If you wish to eat at the restaurant prior to the meeting. Please inform the cashier at the door that you are there for the DAV meeting and pay at the register instead of when you sign in with the Bob.

2. Instead of everyone attempting to crowd into the small private dining room to eat. It will be open seating for dinner in the main dining area.

An announcement will be made that the meeting is about to begin. At that time those wishing to attend the meeting will proceed to the private dining room with their drinks only. No food will be allowed in the meeting.

At 7 am the doors to the meeting will be closed at this time and the meeting will be called to order. We request no unnecessary traffic in and out of the meeting.

Your support helps us continue providing transportation for veterans who need rides to medical appointments, treatments, and essential services. For many veterans, this van is the bridge between needing care and actually receiving it.
We are beyond grateful for your commitment to serving those who served our country. Community partners like Iron Workers Local 22 make a real, lasting impact on the lives of our veterans right here at home.
